Isaias Gorritti, formerly a resident of Hartford CT, peacefully entered his heavenly home on September 19th, 2020 surrounded by his loved ones in Palm Beach County Florida. Isaias was born in Arequipa, Peru on Jan 10 1925. On August 1963 he immigrated with his family to the United States in search of a better life for himself and his family in Hartford CT. He was so proud to be an American Citizen and always said to his children “we live in the best country in the world”. With a strong work ethic and a natural mechanical ability, Isaias spent the better part of his career at the National Typewriter Inc. as a mechanical repairman until he retired in 1995. He had a passion for gardening, history, music and books. But more than anything he enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. He always looked forward to the weekends where he enjoyed the Saturday Buffett with his sister Isabel and going to the Cedar Hill Cemetery to visit his mother and wife. He also enjoyed Sunday dinners with his daughter Giuliana, his son in law Ben and his grandchildren, as they enjoyed his favorite Italian cuisine. He was a devoted Roman Catholic and a parishioner for Our lady of Sorrows Church. On September 28th 1968, Isaias became one of the original founders and dedicated member to the local chapter in Hartford CT for the ‘Hermandad del Señor de los Milagros’. He always looked forward to attending the procession held yearly in October with his son Marcus. In 2014 he moved to Palm Beach County Florida to be with his Daughter and Son in law. He enjoyed trips to Miami to attend various tapings of his favorite TV show “Sabado Gigante” He also enjoyed his trips to Italy and Peru with his wife and true love of his life Olga. They always took hundreds of pictures of their various travels together. His favorite cities were Arequipa Peru and Rome Italy, because of their rich history and amazing cultures. Isaias will be missed by everyone who knew and loved him for his kind spirit. He was thankful for his blessings and we are thankful for him. He was predeceased by his Mother Maria Zuniga Gorritti, wife Olga Gorritti, grandson Benjamin Niro and his daughter in law Azelle Gorritti.
