Janice Phillips

January 16, 1934 - June 15, 2022

Janice Phillips of Delray Beach, FL formerly of Broomall, PA, passed away on June 15th, 2022, at the age of 88. She was born in Philadelphia, PA on January 16th, 1934, to Samuel and Margaret Young. Janice was preceded in death by her grandson, Scott and her brother, Bob (Joan). Janice was known as a star athlete at Marple Newtown High School. Her athletic ability served her well and was fondly recognized throughout her life. Many fond memories were made. Ralph, the love of her life, and Janice were married for 67 years. She was a devoted and loving Wife, Mother, Grandmother, Sister, Aunt and Friend. Much joy was brought to everyone who had the pleasure of knowing her. Janice’s gift of hospitality and selflessness will always be remembered. Janice is survived by her husband Ralph, daughter Lynn (Robert), sons Ralph, Jr. (Ellen), and Paul (Caroline) and grandchildren Jeffrey, Meredith, and Cara. Surviving siblings include brothers Sam (a.k.a. “Bud”) Tom, and sister Margaret (Kerry). She was also adored by her nieces and nephews. She is dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all. The lasting memory of her selfless love, sense of humor, and gracious personality will forever live in our hearts. A Memorial Service will be held at Palm Beach Memorial Park Funeral Home on July 1, 2022, 11:00AM-12:00PM.
