Mrs. Van Peursem was a very important part of my childhood. I have so many memories of her. She was a very loving mother and a hard worker. I remember watching her work in her house with no air conditioning. She was always busy unless she stopped to have a cup of coffee. I will always remember her walking with her family up the Crestwood hill to Lake Worth Christian Church on Sundays. She loved her 5 children very much and always encouraged them to be the very best they could be. I'm glad I got to know the Van Peursem children because of her. I will miss Mrs. Van Peursem.
