Mr. Aimo Kalervo Riihiaho's Obituary
Mr. Aimo Kalervo Riihiaho age 72 of Lake Worth, Florida passed away peacefully on March 9, 2015 at a local hospital. Mr. Riihiaho was born on March 11, 1942 in Finland to his parents, Mr. Augsti Riihiaho and Mrs. Anna Riihiaho. He moved to the United States of America in 1965 and settled in the New York City, New York area with his family and then in 1973 he moved to the Lake Worth, Florida area. Mr. Riihiaho was a very creative man and had a talent for working with his hands; he could create everything from kitchen knives, steamer trunks or anything that he would put his mind to making for his family or friends. These same skills he applied to his job in the boat building industry as he would carefully design and craft everything from the hull, the mast, the main jib or any other working part needed for a boat; he was so skilled in his trade that he could overcome whatever challenge presented itself to him while on the job. His other passions was going out fishing, working in his garden, growing fruit trees and orchids and taking his family camping for a family getaway whenever possible. He was in touch with his natural side and enjoyed the great outdoors and the beauty that the world had to offer him. Mr. Riihiaho also loved his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ and regularly worshipped with his family at the Soumi-Solu Trinity International Church in Lake Worth, Florida. All of the gifts that God had bestowed upon Aimo in this life are now being utilized in his new life in the service of God in Heaven above, now and forever more! Aimo followed the teachings of God as it was written in the Bible, Psalm 128 King James Version (KJV), "1 Blessed is every one that feareth the Lord; that walketh in his ways. 2 For thou shalt eat the labour of thine hands: happy shalt thou be, and it shall be well with thee. 3 Thy wife shall be as a fruitful vine by the sides of thine house: thy children like olive plants round about thy table. 4 Behold, that thus shall the man be blessed that feareth the Lord. 5 The Lord shall bless thee out of Zion: and thou shalt see the good of Jerusalem all the days of thy life. 6 Yea, thou shalt see thy children's children, and peace upon Israel." He leaves behind to forever honor and cherish his eternal memories a loving and devoted wife, Mirja Riihiaho; three loved children, Anita Riihiaho-Vani, Helena Riihiaho and Mari Riiiaho-Murray and husband, Michael; two adored grandchildren, Eric Vani and Alissa Vani; and his admired brother, Vaino Riihiaho.
