Alicia S. Quillen's Obituary
Alicia S. Quillen age 61 of Lake Worth, Florida passed away peacefully at her residence with her family by her bedside. Alicia was born on June 4, 1953 in Lima, Peru to her eagerly awaiting parents, the late Mr. Adolfo Francisco Semino Miranda and the late Mrs. Amanda Cordova Vda DeSemino. Alicia in later years migrated to the United States of America and met and married the love of her life, Victor E. Quillen. Alicia worked for Aeroperu Airlines for 18 years as a Stewardess and because of her occupation she was able to travel intercontinentally and enjoy other parts of the world. She was a devout Catholic and attended St. Matthew Catholic Church regularly for Mass and she also belonged to the Ladies Quilting/Knitting Group at the church. Alicia would spend hours quilting and knitting beautiful children’s clothes, blankets and bonnets for impoverished children throughout the world. Alicia was greeted at the Gates of Heaven by her parents, Adolfo and Amanda and she was led to the open arms of Jesus on August 21, 2014. She will be forever honored and loved by her husband, Victor E. Quillen and his family; her adored sister, Luisa S. Taccone and family; her three admired brothers, Adolfo Semino and family, Pablo Torres and family, and Lucio Torres and family; and a host of close friends and other relatives. The Night Sky became a little brighter with a New Star shining down from above! Family and friends will gather and pay respects from 5:00 PM – 9:00 PM on Tuesday, August 26, 2014 at the Palm Beach Memorial Park Funeral Home, 3691 Seacrest Boulevard, Lantana, Florida 33462, (561) 586-1237. A Catholic Funeral Service will be held 10:00 AM, Wednesday, August 27, 2014 in the Chapel of Palm Beach Memorial Park Funeral Home with Father Clem Hammerschmidt the celebrant.
