I miss you so much ❤️

Dad, there are so many things I wish I could say to you one more time. This is the last photo I took of you, If I had known our time together would be so short, I would have hugged you tighter and told you “I love you” a thousand more times. We didn’t always agree. I was always on your case about eating better, taking care of yourself, and listening to me, and you usually just would do things your own way. But I hope you always knew that every time I fussed over you, it came from love. Even when we disagreed, I never stopped loving you, not for a single second. I saved every voicemail you ever left me because I never wanted to lose the sound of your voice. Now those messages mean more to me than I could have ever imagined. On the days when I miss you the most, I play them just to hear you again, and for a moment, it feels like you’re right here with me.
You were one of the kindest people anyone could ever meet. I always knew you were special, but after you passed, so many people came to me and shared stories about you that I never even knew. They told me about the ways you helped them, the kindness you showed, and the impact you had on their lives. It made me realize that your love and generosity touched so many more people than I ever knew. You were loved and respected by so many, and I am so proud to call you my father.
Watching you fight through everything you went through showed me just how strong you were. You taught me what determination looked like, and I’ll carry that with me for the rest of my life. Thank you for every sacrifice you made, every lesson you taught me, and for always being my dad. Losing you has left a hole in my heart that can never be filled, but I find comfort knowing your pain is gone and that you’re finally at peace.
I miss your voice. I miss your laugh. I miss our conversations. I miss knowing I could pick up the phone and hear you say, “Hello.” I hope you’re looking down on me, proud of the woman you raised. I’ll keep trying to make you proud every day, and I’ll carry your love with me for the rest of my life. Until we meet again, I love you more than words could ever express. Rest peacefully, Dad. You will always be my hero, and you will forever live in my heart. ❤️🕊️
