Arlene Grace Dean's Obituary
Arlene G. Dean, of Lantana, Florida, passed away June 1, 2025, at the age of 89. Arlene was born in Youngstown, Ohio, to parents Wren T. and Grace V. Herdman. She was married to her childhood sweetheart, Wesley A. Dean, for 67 years. Arlene was a devoted military housewife to her husband, who had a 20-year career as an U.S. Army Lieutenant Colonel, and preceded her in death on August 8, 2022. She served as a volunteer for the Red Cross at Ft. Huachuca, Arizona. Survivors include her children Debra (Ken) Picerno, Richard (Michele) Dean, James Dean, Karen (David) Guise, and her caregiver Debra Vadala, who was committed to her care and loved her to the end. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
