Audrey McNamara's Obituary
Audrey McNamara, age 78, of Boynton Beach, died on November 25, 2013. Audrey was an outstanding wife, mother, and grandmother. She spent many years working as a teacher assistant for Palm Beach County Schools, known to her children as Miss Mac. She enjoyed volunteering through her membership in the Benevolent and Protective Order of Elks and the Veterans of Foreign Wars. She was a Past Exalted Ruler at the Lantana-Boynton Elks and was a Past President of the VFW Ladies’ Auxiliary, Palm Springs. Through these organizations, she made many dear friends that she treasured. In recent years, Audrey joined the Red Hat Society and made numerous true friends that added so much to her life. She also discovered a church home at St. Joseph’s Episcopal Church in Boynton Beach. She leaves behind a daughter, Deborah McNamara (Patti); a grandson, Nathaniel McNamara; a brother and sister-in-law, Paul and Kathy Forest; and a niece Amy Forest Houde (Joe, Cameron, and Cassidy). She was preceded in death by her husband, Francis McNamara; her mother, Dorothy Whaley (Phil); her father, Henry Forest; and her sister, Deborah Whaley. A funeral service will be held Wednesday December 4, 2013 at 10:00am at St. Joseph's Episcopal Church 3300 S. Seacrest Blvd, Boynton Beach, FL 33435, (561) 732-3060. Interment to follow at Palm Beach Memorial Park.
