Barbara Helene Shawaryn (Rauh)
Barbara H Shawaryn, 84 of Stuart Florida, formerly of Cherry Hill, New Jersey died on May 18, 2018 . She was the wife of Eugene (Tim) Shawaryn Sr. with whom she would be sharing 59 years of marriage in September. She was the daughter of Estelle May Naphas and George Rauh and Art Reese of Boynton Beach, Florida. She is survived by stepsons Eugene, Charles, Thomas, Michael and step daughters Julia and Bonnie; and the grandchildren Kristine, Mark, Steve, Timothy, Matthew, Patrick, Laura, Thomas, Brian, Jeffrey, Karla, Michael Thomas and Kaitlynn; and numerous great-grandchildren including Dale.
Barbara retired from RCA after more than 36 years of service in providing executive administrative support in the treasurer’s office, and for the Vice president of Finance. She enjoyed vacationing in Ocean View, New Jersey; and playing golf with her women friends and cherished the wonderful fellowship and friendships she developed after retiring to the Whispering Sound development in Stuart, Florida over the past 26 years.
The family wants to express our gratitude to the staff and workers at The Cabana in Jensen Beach, as well as her friends in Whispering Sound (Farmers, Minders); her former co-workers (Melanie, Marie, Carol), and her many life-long friends (Bates, Bednars, Lippmanns, Naphas, Halls, Strass, Meinekes).
A memorial service will be held Thursday, May 24, 2018 at 2:00pm. Located at the Palm Beach Memorial Park, 3691 Seacrest Boulevard in Lantana, Florida. In Lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Barbara’s name may be made to The Cabana, 1537 NE Cedar St, Jensen Beach, Florida 34957.
