Mrs. Bertha Scott's Obituary
Mrs. Bertha Scott age 86 of Wellborn, Florida formerly of Boca Raton, Florida passed away on July 13, 2015. Mrs. Scott was born on May 2, 1929 in Conneautville, Pennsylvania to her parents, Mr. Carl Abram and Mrs. Minnie (nee Hammermeister) Abram. Mrs. Scott had resided in the Boca Raton area from 1969 until 2005, then she moved to the Wellborn, Florida area where she has resided at her daughter's home. She loved to work in her garden planting all sorts of flowers and plants. Bertha was a loving and devoted mother and grandmother. She was preceded in death by her husband, Darwin Harold Scott on March 21, 1993, her son, Darwin H. Scott, II in 2003 and a grandson, William "Billy" Luyendyk. Mrs. Scott will forever be loved and honored by her four surviving children, Joseph Carl Scott, Suzanne Burtrem, Rebecca Luyendyk and Jeffery Scott; her two sisters, Betty Askey and Freda Abram; and six grandchildren and five great grandchildren. A Direct Burial in lieu of formal services will be held 10:00 AM, Thursday, July 16, 2015 in Palm Beach Memorial Park Cemetery, 3691 Seacrest Boulevard, Lantana, Florida 33462, (561) 585-6444. The family will be planning a Private Gravesite Ceremony in Palm Beach Memorial Park Cemetery for the Family in the near future.
