Mrs. Betty Katherine Keller's Obituary
Mrs. Betty Katherine Keller age 76 of Lantana, Florida passed away peacefully on May 11, 2015. Betty was born on August 27, 1938 in Greenville, Alabama to her parents, Mr. Zell Taylor and Mrs. Gladys (nee Shanks) Taylor. Betty moved to the Lantana, Florida area 60+ years ago from her former hometown of Greenville, Alabama. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother who cared very dearly for her family. Betty worked hard around the house to keep her home and yard immaculately kept. She will be remembered for her love of long walks up and down the beach with her husband, William O. Keller prior to his passing on December 29, 2013. She also loved to work in her garden planting native flowers and live plants as well as frequenting her favorite local restaurants such as the Old Key Lime House for a nice meal with her family. She was very supportive of her children and grandchildren always providing encouragement to do better for themselves regardless of the situation. Mrs. Keller also loved her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ and was called home to his banquet table to join her other family and friends that have gone before her. She regularly worshipped at the First Baptist Church of Lantana when she was still able to get out and attend Sunday Services. Betty will be forever loved and honored by her three loving children, Brian Keller and wife, Kathryn, Randy Keller and Jeff Keller and wife, Delight Kasserman; her admired brother, Paul Taylor; her adored sisters, Jean Faulkner and husband, Charles and Brenda Lamb and husband, Eddie; her eight treasured grandchildren; and her loved sister-in-law, Ora Lee Sweat and family, Marty Sweat and Ruby Billick and numerous cousins, nieces, nephews and close friends. Family and friends will gather and pay respects from 6:00 PM - 7:00 PM, Wednesday, May 13, 2015 at Palm Beach Memorial Park Funeral Home, 3691 Seacrest Boulevard, Lantana, Florida 33462, (561) 586-1237 with a Celebration of Life Service for Mrs. Betty Katherine Keller beginning at 7:00 PM - 8:00 PM on that same night.
