Blossom Gardner's Obituary
Blossom Gardner, 93, born in Brooklyn, and formerly of Queens, NY, Aberdeen, NJ, and Boynton Beach died at home in Vi at Lakeside Village, Lantana. She was attended by her family and caretakers.
Blossom and her late husband Stanley had been married 56 years. She is survived by 3 daughters, Bonnie, Lynn and Laura, one granddaughter, Michele, sons-in-law, Mickey and Frank, nieces and nephews, Roberta, Kenny, Judy, Betsy, Susan, Stewie and Larry, and her step-grandchildren Eliza, Gabe and Claire.
Blossom had been a proud New York City school teacher and UFT member during her working years. After Stanley's passing, she became an avid Bridge player. She was a constant reader of talking books.
Services and entombment will be Sunday October 6, at 11:-00 AM from the chapel of Palm Beach Memorial Park Funeral Home, 3691 Seacrest Blvd, Lantana, FL 33462, 561-586-1237. Entombment will follow in the cemetery mausoleum. A Celebration of Life will be held from 1:00 PM - 3:00 PM at The Vi at Lakeside Village, in the Fireside Lounge. Donations may be made in her name to Sjogren's, the American Cancer Society, Talking Books, Hospice or Lighthouse for the Blind.
