Cesar A. Valega's Obituary
Cesar A. Valega age 93 of Boynton Beach, Florida passed away peacefully at Manor Care Nursing Home in Boynton Beach, Florida on May 12, 2014. Cesar was born on February 1, 1921 in Colombia to his eagerly awaiting parents, the late Mr. Humberto A. Valega and the late Mrs. Nicolaza Gonzalez. Cesar migrated to the United States of America in 1974 coming from his hometown of Barranquilla, Colombia. Cesar was a hardworking and honest man employed by the Colombian Government as a Crane Operator for most of his life; opening up various ports and other major projects throughout the Amazon Jungle Basin. He was a "Jack of All Trades", Handyman and extraordinaire; who could fix just about anything that needed repairing. In his spare time he raised Canaries for his pets and to sell to other bird lovers. Besides his hardworking, honest approach to life; Cesar liked to tell a good story about his many adventures in the Jungles of the Great Amazon Basin and spin a good yarn followed by a joke or two. It was said by his family that the only thing that he truly never accomplished in life was "Flying a Plane", but that was on his list of things to do. He was a kind and amicable person; always placing others both family, friend or acquaintance before himself. He would literally give you the shirt off his back if you were that much in need. His creative talents are now focused up above in "Heaven"; Cesar is doing God's work. When he took that last breath of this earthly air on May 12, 2014, his wife, Margarita Valega; whom has been waiting for him since August 2, 2013 took his hand and led him through the Gates of Heaven. Cesar leaves behind to forever cherish his memories ten loved children, Cesar De la Cruz, Margarita Mastodomenico, Cecilia Senior, Nidia Rodriguez, Cesar Valega, Jr., Gladys Thompson, Grey Acosta, Duby Rivero, Julio Valega and Oscar Valega; his thirty treasured grandchildren; and thirty five precious great grandchildren; and his four admired brothers, Oscar Valega, Humberto Valega, Alfredo Valega and Alfonso Valega. Family and friends will gather and pay respects from 12:00PM - 2:00PM, Wednesday, May 14, 2014 at the Palm Beach Memorial Park Funeral Home, 3691 Seacrest Boulevard, Lantana, Florida 33462. A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 2:00PM on Wednesday, May 14, 2014 at Palm Beach Memorial Park Funeral Home to Honor the Life Cesar A. Valega .
