Mrs. Concepcion "Connie" Perera's Obituary
Mrs. Concepcion "Connie" Perera age 90 of Lake Worth, Florida was called home to be with the Lord on May 31, 2015 and was greeted at Heaven's Gate by her son, Marcelo Campo who has been waiting for her since his passing on February 10, 2010. Connie was born on December 8, 1924 in Corozal, Belize to her proud parents, Mr. Fabian Leiva and Mrs. Juanita (nee Ramirez) Leiva. She moved to the United States of America in 1982 from her hometown of Belize City, Belize to begin a new life with her husband of thirty nine years, Mr. Manuel Perera and her children, Inair Slover and Marcelo Campo. Connie was a truly devout Chrisitan and regularly attended Church Services at Cristo Mi Redentor Iglesia Pentecostal in West Palm Beach, Florida. She also loved to cook homemade Belize Rice and Beans, Cerviche, Tamales, Johnny Cakes and Sweet Buns and Chicken with Mole Sauce for her family and friends. She most of all loved to spend quality time with her family and friends. She will be forever loved and honored by her loving and devoted husband, Mr. Manuel Perera; her loving daughter, Inair Slover and husband, Philip Slover; her two adored grandchildren, Kristy Slover and David Campo and his wife, Leslie Campo; three precious great grandchildren, Isabella Slover, Devin Marcelo Campo and Derek Anthony Campo; six loved nieces, Areli Gabourel, Conchita Alvarez, Mireya Alvarez, Delta Alvarez, Mario Alvarez and Enrique Alvarez; countless great nieces and great nephews also survive her. Family and friends will gather and pay respects on Thursday, June 4, 2015 from 11:00 AM - 1:00 PM at Palm Beach Memorial Park Funeral Home, 3691 Seacrest Boulevard, Lantana, Florida 33462, (561) 586-1237 and a Celebration of Life Service will begin at 1:00 PM in the Chapel of Palm Beach Memorial Park Funeral Home with Pastor Oscar Rodriquez officiating.
