I am saddened to hear about Dennis. I worked with the Palm Beach surveyors for 30 years and Dennis was always available to help with a complex survey. He never hesitated to assist you and spend time helping you. He will be greatly missed.
The last time I had a conversation with Dennis, he assumed I had prepared a title survey on a parcel near Lantana Rd & 441. He was about to instruct me on the fact that the portion being used as a road belonged to the client & was not county property. When I told him I was contracted only to do topography, his demeanor changed somewhat. I had very few exchanges with Dennis over the years even though we both did work in the same county for decades.
"D" was a true old school Florida Surveyor!
Dennis was my mentor, my friend and colleague. I worked under him for 10 years at Adair and Brady, he taught me how to be a good surveyor and continued advising me to the very end, 46 years. Can never repay him for all he has done for me and my career. No one will ever match his skills, kindness and patience. He will be sadly missed.
