When I first met Don I didn't know we had similar last names,even though we lived 50 feet across the parking lot from each other in North Palm .We were both surprised when discovered it and became fast friends.He was so helpful to me and my daughter MaryBeth who is dissabled.I could never thank him enough.Don had great stories of his youth in New Jersey,and he loved life in the 50's and 60's and wished life today was more like back then.I will miss Don,a true friend,willing to help everyone without a payback.I raise my hankerchief and wave it to Don as we did so many times in the past,Goodbye my friend and God Bless.##imported-begin##JOSE BATISTA##imported-end##
Dearest Don, I've loved and cared for you for the past 16 years of your life. I was by your side practically every moment the last 20 days of your life. They were so difficult for you and I hope you are at peace now. We loved, we cared, and I will miss you so much. This home is very lonely without your present. You told me in a dream moments before you left us not to be afraid. I will try not to. I know you'll be my guardian angel looking out for me from above. Rest in Peace my love.
