Elaine Crandall's Obituary
Elaine Crandall (Lee) passed away September 15, 2015, after a lengthy illness, at Boulevard Rehabilitation Center in Boynton Beach, FL at the age of 77. She is survived by her husband Donald Crandall; her children Chris Jacomine and Laura Crandall-Hirsch; and siblings, Carole Tenally and Rick Lee. Elaine was born on September 1, 1938 in Johnson City, NY to Naomi and Ernest Lee. In 1958, she married Don Crandall and they had 2 daughters. Elaine and Don moved from Binghamton, NY to Boca Raton, FL in 1968. From Boca they moved to Boynton Beach.
Elaine was always an active and dedicated member of the church. For years she was involved with the church choir, ensemble groups and the puppet ministry. She drove school bus to put her daughters through private Christian school and she later co-owned a party planning business called 'Parties, Etc.' doing floral arranging and making wedding and party cakes. She loved children and was a passionate grandmother and great-grandmother.
The family would like to thank the staff of Boulevard Rehabilitation Center and TrustBridge/Hospice by the Sea for the wonderful care she received in her final days.
A time of reflection with the family is scheduled for 11:30am to 12:30pm and her funeral is scheduled for 12:30pm Saturday, September 19, 2015 at Palm Beach Memorial Park chapel, 3691 Seacrest Blvd., Lantana, FL 33462 with a reception to follow at Belvedere Baptist Church 301 Cherry Road, West Palm Beach, FL 33409. Dr. Ray Henry, Senior Pastor at Belvedere Baptist Church, will officiate the ceremony. All are welcome to attend and celebrate Elaine's life. In lieu of flowers, which cannot be left graveside, please consider a donation to a cause close to the family's heart.
