Elizabeth A Prokolyshen's Obituary
Elizabeth A Prokolyshen (nee Migliaccio), 79, of Cooper City, Fl passed away on July 20, 2020, a resident of South Florida for 13 years. Sh was born in Burlington New Jersey on August 30,1940 to parents Anthony F Migliaccio and Ruth J. Radice. Elizabeth was known as “Betty” to her family and friends. She and “Al” owned and operated a family tavern in his home town of Roebling, NJ for 20 years, before finally selling the business and making their way to Florida after retirement in 2007. Betty was loved by many for her never ending kindness to everyone she met. She last resided at The Sheridan of Cooper City, an assisted living facility, where she served as President on the Residents’ Board. She was widow to Joseph A “Al” Prokolyshen who passed August 6, 2017. Surviving are two Sons, Steven Prokolyshen and Daughter in law Julie Resnick DeLeon of Davie, FL and Joseph Michael Prokolyshen of Holland, PA and grandchildren Lindsey Michelle Rutledge and Matthew Robert Rutledge both of Denver, Colorado. She will be missed by all.
