I will always remember a time at Uncle Will's house. Gene was at the top of a grapefruit tree throwing grapefruit down to me and he was yelling like Tarzan. I have a video...We love that man!

I will never forget Gene at the chapel of Saint Andrew. Each year he climbed up 20 feet to drape the cross while Martha and I held the base of the ladder steady, as if that would do any good to stop a fall. And I remember the loving look on his face as he washed my feet on Maundy Thursday.
