Eunice Sustring's Obituary
Eunice "Julie" Sustring age 97 of Lake Worth, Florida was called home June 12, 2014. Eunice was born on September 19, 1916, in the Netherlands. Eunice's family owned a jewelry store in the province of Friesland where she worked. She cared for her mother and father until their death. She immigrated first to Canada, then United States, where she gained employment as a Nanny for many years for families in Palm Beach, Florida. She loved her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ and worshiped regularly at the Lake Worth Christian Reformed Church; where she was a Chartered Member since 1957. She will be forever loved and honored by her niece, Greta van der Veen of Friesland, in the Netherlands; and her church family and friends. Eunice was preceded in death by her parents, Albertus Martein Sustring (1881 - 1946), Willemke De Boer (1892 - 1952); her sisters, Maaike (1915 - 1993) and Sjoerdtje (1922 - 2012); and her brother, Jan (1919 -1978. Family and friends will gather to pay respects from 10:00 AM - 11:00 AM, Friday, June 27, 2014, at Palm Beach Memorial Park Funeral Home, 3691 Seacrest Boulevard, Lantana, Florida 33462, (561) 586-1237. A Celebration of Life Service for Eunice Sustring will begin at 11:00 AM on Friday, June 27, 2014 in the Chapel of Palm Beach Memorial Park Funeral Home with Pastor Douglas Moss the officiant.
