Florence Ward Werronen's Obituary
Florence Ward Werronen passed away on Monday, January 15, 2024, at Discovery Village- Memory Care, Boynton Beach, Fl at 5:12am. Florence was born April 3, 1932, to John and Pauline Wilson Ward in Painesville, Ohio. She graduated from Painesville High School in 1950. She married Toivo Werronen on October 5, 1956.
Florence worked at the Diamond Shamrock Corp, Painesville, Ohio; The National Enquirer, Lantana, Fl; Puget Sound Log Scaling & Grading Bureau, Port Angeles, WA. She also cleaned a few private residences and most recently loved volunteering at the Hypoluxo First Baptist Church, where she was a member.
Florence was proceeded in death by her parents-John & Pauline Ward; Husband-Toivo Werronen; Sisters- Alice Rhodes, Grace Ulvila & Janice Passera; Brothers- Bob Ward, Bud Ward, Bill Ward & Phil Ward. As well as Nephews- Alan Ulvila, Jack Ulvila, John Ward, Jeff Werronen, Jimmy Werronen & Niece-Lois Werronen. Survivors are Nieces: Debbie Ward Mish (Gainesville, FL), Connie Ward (Perry, OH), Mary Ellen Rhodes Jordan (Sequim, WA), Donna Werronen Peltoma (Columbus, OH), Becky Rossley Head (Stow, OH), Amy Werronen Moyer (Perry, OH), Nancy Werronen (Fairport Harbor, OH). Nephews: Jim Ward (Kennewick, WA), Bob Ward (Mentor, OH), Bud Ward (Madison, OH), Larry Bleil (Key West, FL), Jeff Bleil (Soddy Daisy, TN), Bob Rossley (Painesville, OH), Tom Rossley (Dallas, TX), Ted Stevens (California), Mike Stevens (Warren, OH), Chris Werronen (Leroy, OH), Henry Werronen (Washington, DC2), John Werronen (Fairport Harbor, OH), David Werronen (Ohio).
She is also survived by many Great Nieces & Nephews, and many Great-Great Nieces & Nephews. In addition, her Hypoluxo First Baptist Church family & friends. She was loved by many.
Florence Memorial will be held at First Baptist Church of Hypoluxo on Saturday, February 10, 2024, at 11am
