It’s painfully hard to put into words what this world feels like without you, but I’ll start with this. You brought a light to my world that can never be replaced. Every moment, every memory we had together replays in my mind like a movie, and boy, is it my favorite movie. I don’t think you realized how much happiness you brought into the lives of those around you. Your smile, your laugh, your humor, your unique way of seeing the world. My world is less beautiful now without you in it.
Thank you for always being the best father, the best friend, and the strongest guiding light. I know one day I will look back on these memories with a smile on my face instead of tears in my eyes. But, for now I will cherish every second of this immense grief, for I know this grief is proof that love is there. I love you so much, Dad. I will miss you every second of every day for the rest of my life. I’ll always be your little one.
