Frank Anthony Scavone's Obituary
Frank Anthony Scavone age 80 of Okeechobee, Florida was called home to join his family in Heaven on September 24, 2014. Frank was born on January 3, 1934 in Brooklyn, New York to the late Mr. Anthony Scavone and the late Mrs. Emilia (nee Monaco) Scavone. Frank worked as a Commercial Truck Driver for Yellow Freight for approximately twenty years. Frank moved from New York to Florida in 1969 settling in Hollywood, Florida and later he moved to the Tamarac and Margate, Florida areas; then he decided to puchase a parcel of land and build his home on that piece of land in Okeechobee, Florida where he has since resided. Frank was a very sincere, kind and generous person. He was always willing to help his fellowman during their hour of need. He loved doing landscape work about his yard and spend quality time watching his grandchildren and he also enjoyed watching the rival match ups on various Wrestling programs that aired on Television. "He left this world much too soon and he has left a great impact on the lives of those that he touched!" Frank leaves behind to forever honor and cherish his memory a loving and devoted wife, Jennie (nee Rizzuto) Scavone; his four loved children, Robert Scavone and his wife, Sheri, Janet Shew and her husband, John, Diane Reiser and her husband, John and Michael Scavone and his wife, Kathy; his admired brother, Dominick Scavone; his six adored grandchildren, Danielle, Christina, Kenny, Nicole, Chris and Jared; and his precious great grandson, Justin. Family and friends will gather and pay respects from 10:00 AM - 12:00 PM, Tuesday, September 30, 2014 at Palm Beach Memorial Park Funeral Home, 3691 Seacrest Boulevard, Lantana, Florida 33462, (561) 586-1237. A Catholic Service will be held at 12:00 PM on Tuesday, September 30, 2014 in the Chapel of Palm Beach Memorial Park Funeral Home with Father Rick Ricardi the Celebrant. Catholic Burial will follow at the South Florida National Cemetery, 6501 South State Road 7, Lake Worth, Florida 33449, (561) 649-6489 with the United States Air Force presenting Military Honors to the family of Frank Anthony Scavone.
