George R Meillarec's Obituary
George Robert Meillarec, age 83, of Boynton Beach, FL, formerly of Franklin Lakes, NJ peacefully passed away in his home on May 12th, 2023.
George was born May 18, 1939 to Yves Pierre and Marie Anne Meillarec in Paterson, N.J.
George’s working career included plant supervisor roles with Pepsi Cola followed by a regional management position with Great Waters of France. Before retiring, he successfully started and ran Michael’s Deli Cafe with his younger son, Michael.
Following in his father’s footsteps, he had a lifelong love for baseball and was an avid Boston Red Sox fan.
He is survived by his wife of sixty-one years, Marilyn, his sons George and Michael, and his grandchildren, Michael, Nicole, and Thomas, all of Florida. He is also survived by his sister, Yvonne Kreger, and nephews Thomas, Joseph and Edward, Edward's wife Sandy, and their children Jessica and Edward.
A visitation will be held on Wednesday, May 17, at 10:00 am to 12:00 pm at Palm Beach Memorial Park Funeral Home, 3691 N. Seacrest Blvd., Lantana, FL. Graveside Service will be held on Wednesday, May 17, 2023 12:00 pm at Palm Beach Memorial Park Mausoleum.
