Mr. Gildardo Luis' Obituary
Mr. Gildardo Luis age 65 of Lantana, Florida passed away peacefully on February 23, 2015. Gildardo was born in Oaxaca, Mexico on May 22, 1949 to his parents, Mr. Wenceslao Luis and Mrs. Natalia Nunez. Gildardo moved to the United Sates of America forty seven years ago to begin a new life for himself and his family. He was a self-employed Construction Worker and Nursery Worker for many years. He loved working in his garden, listening to Mexican Music and spending quality time with his family and friends. Gildardo was the life of the Party and he liked to make others laugh and he liked to have a good time in spite of whatever might be happening in his world. He was a creative genius and could fix or repair anything; he was like a modern day "MacGyver" who could fix whatever with whatever he could get his hands on. This coupled with his kind and generous ways helped him to make and acquire new friends very easily which also assisted him throughout his life. Gildardo will be truly missed and loved by all who knew and loved him very dearly! He is survived by his loving and devoted wife of thirty two years, Mrs. Esperanza Luis; his twelve loved children, Sergio Martinez, Luis Martinez, Ruby Luis, Alejandro Luis, Rene Luis, Rosie Luis, Victoria Luis, Sonia Luis, Abel Luis, Carlos Luis, Yoalnda Luis and Gildardo Luis; his seven admired brothers, Martin Luis, Abel Luis, Manuel Luis, Rafael Luis, Wenceslao Luis, Roberto Luis and Alejandro Luis; and his thirteen treasured grandchildren. Family and friends will gather and pay respects from 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM, Thursday, February 26, 2015 at Palm Beach Memorial Park Funeral Home, 3691 Seacrest Boulevard, Lantana, Florida 33462, (561) 586-1237. A Celebration of Life Service for Mr. Gildardo Luis will be held 10:00 AM on Friday, February 27, 2015 in the Chapel of Palm Beach Memorial Park, 3691 Seacrest Boulevard, Lantana, Florida 33462, (561) 586-1237 with Pastor Maximo Zelaya the officiant.
