Gloria “Jean” Balderson, beloved grandmother, mother, sister, and friend, passed away on February 19, 2024. Born on February 17, 1949, Jean lived a life filled with love, compassion, and unwavering strength.
A Life of Love and Kindness
Jean was a beacon of warmth and kindness. Her life was dedicated to her children and her dogs, and her heart was always open to those in need. She dedicated her life to caring for others, whether it was through her work, volunteering in the community, or simply by being a listening ear for friends and family.
Cherished Memories
Jean loved gardening, tending to her vibrant flowers, and nurturing life from the soil. She found solace in the simple beauty of nature and taught us all to appreciate the little things. She enjoyed several years of retirement and was always looking forward to her next trip or cruise with her great companions.
A Legacy of Love
Jean leaves behind a legacy of love and resilience. She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law Christopher Emerson and Tina Renae Balderson of York, PA; her son and daughter-in-law Donald Keith and Iryna Balderson of Boynton Beach, FL; her grandchildren, Emma Elizabeth Balderson, Abigail Renae Balderson, Christopher Emberson Balderson Jr of York, PA, who will forever carry her spirit in their hearts. Her siblings, Patricia Ann Dezern of Richmond, VA and Deborah Hernandez of Corpus Christi, TX share cherished memories of their childhood adventures and many holidays together as a family. Preceded in death by her son, Randolph "Randy" Curtis.
Final Farewell
A memorial service to celebrate Jean’s life will be held on Sunday February 25 at 10:00 AM at Palm Beach Memorial Park.
Jean Balderson touched the lives of many, and her memory will continue to inspire kindness and compassion. May she rest in eternal peace.
