Gordon Lee Puls' Obituary
Gordon Lee Puls, born June 26, 1947, in Grand Rapids, Michigan, to William and Thressa Puls, passed away August 30, 2011, at his home in Lantana, Florida. He joins his eldest daughter, Michele Joy Puls, in rejoicing in the presence of his Lord Jesus Christ. His wife of forty years, Joyce Heyboer Puls, and his children Amy Puls Bax and Kevin Bax, Lisa Puls Dunn and Geoffry Mark Dunn, and Timothy John Puls and Sarah Kay Puls remain to fight the good fight, trusting in the One who led Gordon "further up and further in" also to lead them morning by morning from victory to victory. Gordon's eight grandchildren--Laura, Heidi, Adam and Seth Bax; and Andrew, John, Elisabeth, and Luke Dunn--will cherish memories of Grandpa's silly jokes and trumpet lessons. In the midst of sorrow, Gordon's family and friends have no greater joy than to know that he walks in perfect, unveiled truth. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Gateway, an organization fulfilling the cultural and evangelical mandate in the Middle East, in the care of Epic International. Please designate gifts to "Jacob Pursley" or "Gateway." Mailed checks should be made out to Epic International with "Gateway" or "Pursley" in the memo.
