Mrs. Helen Frances Coryer's Obituary
Mrs. Helen Frances Coryer age 96 of Boynton Beach, Florida passed away peacefully on November 11, 2014 with her family at her bedside. Helen was born in New York City, New York on June 10, 1918 to her late father, Mr. Carles Higgins and her late mother, Teresa (nee Teleski) Higgins. Helen move to the bright and sunny South Florida area thirty eight years ago, coming from her former hometown of Hackettstown, New Jersey. Helen was a devout Catholic and attended Mass regularly at St. Mark's Catholic Church in Boynton Beach, Florida. She loved to play Bingo, Tap Dance, take in a Good Show and take cruises to the Eastern Carribean; as well as gamble in the local Casino's, since she was always a "Lucky Lady". Helen also had a good back swing and could play a great game of Golf. She was also a Major League Fan of the New York Yankee's. Helen will be fondly remembered as a kind, gentle and good person to everyone whom knew andl loved her. She will be forever honored and remembered by her loving and devoted husband of twenty five years, Bernard Coryer; her five children, Kathleen Atteo, Thomas James Herd and his wife, Lauren Herd, Jacqueline Donst and her husband, Alfred Donst, Bernard Coryer and his wife, Corrina Coryer, Mildred Dhu and her husband, Bob Dhu and a son-in-law, Hank Mattfield; her adored sister, Mary McGrath and ten grandchildren. Helen was met at the Gates of Heaven by her beloved daughter, Patricia Mattfeld, whom preceded her in death. A Graveside Service with Inurnment will take place on Saturday, November 22, 2014 at 11:00 AM in Palm Beach Memorial Park Cemetery, 3691 Seacrest Boulevard, Lantana, Florida 33462, 561-585-6444.
