I am tremendously shocked and saddened to just learn of Helen's passing. I knew her well through most of my 20+ years at Grumman. Helen was truly a beautiful person: warm, funny, kind, thoughtful. We considered each other good friends, and shared many good talks and good laughs.
She's gone way too soon. I will always remember her with a great deal of fondness.

As I told Helen many times, she was a Godsend when she came to us in 1996. She was a critical player in the success of McMahon Associates Florida operation. Her work ethic was so great that she would come to work while struggling through health issues to make sure the work was completed (a rare trait in today's world).
We had fun times too! Company parties were always more fun when Helen attended. I really enjoyed the times she and I would go for a glass of wine after work - for Helen White Zinfandel with a glass of ice. She was always interested in our adventures and our family and loved to share the accomplishments and events of her family, although she was very guarded regarding personal information. Her sense of humor and that dimpled smile could brighten your day😀
God sent her to us and now He's taken her back. She will be sorely missed😢

To the Venetucci Family - Helen was friend for over 20 years. We worked together, and she was my right hand. She was a big part of our work family, and she will be sorely missed, even more so, than when she recently retired. I called her H, and I loved to work with her. I hadn't any staff my age, and she & I could confide in each other, and discuss many things. I really enjoyed that and miss that most of all of our friendship. Of course we had our secrets too, and they will stay with us for the here after. She was the rock of our office, and could keep everyone in line, and she dictated how it should be done. She taught me how best to use the Dictaphone a dying tool in today's business world, but H, was old school, and so was I. I believe that is why we were so compatible. We knew each other families, and it was fun, seeing them, grow up with us. H, I'll miss you, as you were taken too early from us all. You will always be with me. J
