Isabel Carrasquillo Rivera's Obituary
Isabel Carrasquillo Rivera age 65 of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania a seasonal resident of Palm Beach County Florida passed away peacefully on May 7, 2014. Isabel was born on September 15, 1948 in Luquillo Puerto Rico. Isabel was a strong willed and determined person; she always put her family above everything else in life. "FAMILY FIRST" was her motto! She loved her Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ and was a devout Catholic. Her other interests included gambling at the Casinos and having a good political debate; as well as a community activist and social worker at heart. She was a very giving, affectionate and passionate in her beliefs type of person. Isabel's family will most certainly feel the sustained loss of losing such a great family Matriarch. Isabel leaves to forever cherish her memories her loving and devoted husband and companion of thirty seven years, Wilfredo Rivera; her loved daughters, Idaly Irizarry-Zayas and Isolina Vargas; her adored grandchildren, Andrew Inocencio Rivera, Orlando Samuel Rivera, Ivan Isaias Vargas, Ilias Inri Vargas; her admired siblings, Edward Carrasquillo, Jose Antonio Carrasiquillo, Inocencio Carrasquillo, Jr., Marian Carrasquillo and Marisol Carrasquillo; and Hermana de Crianza, Sonia Lozada. Family and friends will gather and visit on Tuesday, May 13, 2014 from 10:00AM - 12:00 Noon at Palm Beach Memorial Funeral Home, 3691 Seacrest Blvd., Lantana, FL 33462, (561) 586-1237 with a Celebration of Life Service beginning at 12:00 Noon to Honor the Life of Isabel Carrasquillo Rivera. Burial will follow in Palm Beach Memorial Park, 3691 Seacrest Blvd., Lantana, FL 33462, (561) 585-6444.
