Ivette Agosto's Obituary
La Reverenda Ivette Agosto Colón nació en San Juan -Puerto Rico en Diciembre 28,1963. Sus padres fueron el Reverendo. Salvador Agosto Ruiz y la Reverenda Natividad Agosto Colon.
Ivette era la segunda de 3 hijas de el matrimonio. Sus hermanas son Eneida y Mary Helen Agosto y su hermano, Salvador Agosto. La pastora Ivette Agosto creció en el pueblo de Bayamon, PR. donde completó la escuela superior y luego completó Administracion de Empresa en la Universidad Ana G Mendez.
Por muchos años Ivy como cariñozamente se le conocía, distribuia su tiempo entre su trabajo como gerente general para empresas de comercio en el area turistica de San Juan, PR. Y tembien sacaba de su tiempo para cuidar y apoyar a sus hermanos pequeños Mary Helen y Salvador Agosto. En el 2004 se trasladó a NY para acompaóar y ayudar a su hermana la Dra. Eneida Agosto en su oficina medica y en la clinica trabajó en el area de administracion y payroll. Con los años Ivette tambien ayudo a criar y vio crecer a su sobrino Omar al cual lo cuidaba como su propio hijo Su passion y amor por servir a otros la motivo a estudiar y certificarse como Home Health Aid en NYC y trabajó con pacientes los cuales disfrutaban de su compañia y apoyo y eventualmente fué promovida como coordinadora principal. Ivette era miembro de la iglesia Bethesda Pentecostal en Brooklyn Ny patoreada por la Rev.Jacqueline Toro en donde estuvo envuelta en multiples eventos pro templo, servicios misioneros y ministerios femeniles. Desde pequeña la pastora Ivette Agosto mostró destreza de liderazgo y servicio ayudando en tareas de la iglesia de sus padres. Estas destrezas y passion de servicio le abrio las puertas como Pastora interina aquí en esta hermosa iglesia.
Ivy gracias por todo el amor y cariño que nos brindastes siempre recordaremos tu humildad y sinceridad. Fuiste nuestra hermana, amiga y consejera y siempre seras nuestro ejemplo a seguir.

Reverend Ivette Agosto Colón was born in San Juan -Puerto Rico on December 28,1963. His parents were the Reverend. Salvador Agosto Ruiz and Reverend Natividad Agosto Colon.
Ivette was the second of 3 daughters of the marriage. Her sisters are Eneida and Mary Helen Agosto and her brother, Salvador Agosto. Pastor Ivette Agosto grew up in the town of Bayamon, PR. where he completed high school and then completed Business Administration at the Ana G Mendez University.
For many years Ivy, as she was affectionately known, distributed her time between her work as general manager for commercial companies in the tourist area of San Juan, PR. And Tembien took the time to care for and support his little brothers Mary Helen and Salvador Agosto. In 2004 she moved to NY to accompany and help her sister Dr. Eneida Agosto in her medical office and in the clinic she worked in the administration and payroll area. Over the years Ivette also helped raise and watch her nephew Omar grow up, who she cared for like her own son. Her passion and love for serving others motivated her to study and become certified as Home Health Aid in NYC and worked with patients whom they enjoyed. of her company and support and was eventually promoted to lead coordinator. Ivette was a member of the Bethesda Pentecostal Church in Brooklyn NY, founded by the Rev. Jacqueline Toro where she was involved in multiple pro-temple events, missionary services and women's ministries. From a young age, Pastor Ivette Agosto showed leadership and service skills by helping with tasks at her parents' church. These skills and passion of service opened the doors for her as an Interim Pastor here at this beautiful church.
Ivy, thank you for all the love and affection you gave us, we will always remember your humility and sincerity. You were our sister, friend and counselor and you will always be our role model.
