Jacob Garfield Minke's Obituary
Gary was born in Cumberland, Maryland on November 3rd, 1940. He graduated from Fort Hill high school, class of 1958. Although Gary wasn’t married, he spent the last 26 years with the love of his life Audrey Warner; they were engaged and planned to get married. Gary worked at Kelly Springfield Tire Co. for many years, before relocating to Florida where he worked as a General Contractor at Oriole Homes for 25 plus years. After his retirement, he worked part-time at the Boynton Beach Marina. He enjoyed bowling, golf, fishing and poker with his buddies. He was a member of the Potomac Lodge #100, AF & AM Masonic Lodge in Cumberland, MD. He is survived by Audrey Warner (fiancé), Michelle Whitacre (daughter), Michelle Shipley and Tiffany Warner (step-daughters), Jennifer, Adam, Heather, Samantha, McKenzie and Bruce (grandchildren), Ruben, Aiden, Daniel and Quinn (great grandchildren) and other family and friends.
Gary is preceded in death by his parents Thelma and Jacob S. MInke and his sisters Shirley and Elizabeth.The family of “Gary” Jacob G. Minke wishes to thank the Masonic Lodge No. 236 of Boynton Beach and the United States Military for their ceremonies provided.
