My fondest memory is if Jim and I dancing at the Flamingo Hotel on the night we were married. (Gail Jamieson Brennan)
Jim and I were married in Las Vegas, Nevada on November 18th, 1969. I will always remember him as being a wonderful dancer, doting father to my two oldest children (Gary and Sherry) and so full of happiness the day we welcomed our daughter Colleen into the world at Sunrise Hospital...(and even though he jokingly told me he wanted a boy) I am happy he had the years with her that he did. Although our daughter Colleen may have resented me for it...I know she brought Jim all the joy he could ever ask for.
We had planned to share time together in the summer of 2014 and had talked of it on the phone a few times...regrettably it couldn't come to be. I will always remember Jim as being a spontaneous, and fun spirited person, so much larger than life itself. I know he is with *The Rose* and all his family that have gone on before. Rest in Peace always dear Jim.
Jim Brennan is our beloved cousin and we will never forget his engaging personality, consistent good humor and devotion to his family. We've known Jim since his childhood days in the Germantown section of Philadelphia in the late 40's and early '50's where we used to play cowboys and Indians in the park, to his days in Floral Park, Long Island where Jim was adept at shooting "three-pointers" in his backyard and later at Iona College, to his service in the Air Force and to his "family" days in Florida where he and Colleen (and later Connor) forged tight bonds with friends, relatives and just about everyone they met.
We'll miss you Jim but never forget your unique ability to make everyone you were with feel that you were their best friend! Say Hi to Aunt Rosalie and Uncle Jim for us and enjoy your exciting new home!
