Jane Richardson's Obituary
JANE J. RICHARDSON Passed away quietly and gently on July 28, 2011 in the presence of her family after a courageous battle with cancer. Jane was born in New Jersey on August 28, 1930 and moved to West Palm Beach in 1971. Jane is survived by her devoted husband of 62 years Donald, sons Scott (Leslie) and Kevin (Debbie) and grandchildren Adam, Brendan, Justin, Lauren, and Conor. She is also survived by her sister Bette Jardine, sister-in-law Winifred D’Agostino, brother-in-law Milton Wines, and numerous nieces and nephews. Jane traveled the world with Donald. But most of all, she loved being home surrounded by family and friends. Everyone who knew Jane remembers her amazing ability to listen well and counsel kindly. Jane was so well known for her patience and understanding that she received one of the first honorary degrees awarded for Mistress of Patience in Husband Engineering from Georgia Tech, Don’s alma mater, in 1951. Friends may visit with the family from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, August 4, 2011 at Palm Beach Memorial Park, 3691 Seacrest Blvd., Lantana, Florida 33462. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, August 5, 2011 at Palm Beach Memorial Park Chapel, 3691 Seacrest Blvd., Lantana, Florida 33462.
