Jane Saathoff's Obituary
Jane Saathoff age 89 of Boynton Beach, Florida passed away peacefully on May 21, 2014. Mrs. Saathoff was born on July 23, 1924 in Rhode Island to the late Mr. Richard Parker and the late Mrs. Mildred (nee Simpson) Parker. In later years, Jane moved to the Boynton Beach area with her family. Jane loved to go bowling, work on ceramics and perform other arts and crafts in her spare time. In earlier years Jane loved to snow ski with her husband, Jurian Saathoff, where the two of them would take vacations and travel getaways to hit the slopes to as far away places as the slopes in France and ski resorts as close as the hills of Vermont and the Hamptons. Jane was preceded in death by her two beloved husbands, Barney Vanderberg in 1965 and Jurian Saathoff in 1990. She is survived by her daughter, Sharon Reilly of Boynton Beach, Florida; her sons, Brad Vanderberg of Boynton Beach, Florida and Randall Vanderberg of Montvale, New Jersey; her four adored grandchildren, Greg and Bryan Power of Boynton Beach, Florida, Rory Vanderberg and Jillian Vanderberg of Montvale, New Jersey; and her lifelong, dearest friend, Rose Weinpel of Wayne, New Jersey. The family will gather and pay respects on Tuesday, May 27, 2014 from 9:30AM - 10:00AM at Palm Beach Memorial Park Funeral Home, 3691 Seacrest Boulevard, Lantana, Florida 33462, (561) 586-1237. A Prayer Service will be held in the Indoor Mausoleum Building at Palm Beach Memorial Park, 3691 Seacrest Boulevard, Lantana, Florida 33462, (561) 585-6444 on Tuesday, May 27, 2014 at 10:00AM.
