Jean Grunder's Obituary
With hearts full of love and gratitude, we celebrate the extraordinary life of Jean, A woman of radiant spirit, boundless kindness, and endless curiosity, she filled every day with adventure, laughter, and love.
Born in Longbranch, New Jersey, Jean lived a full and abundant life—one defined not by years alone, but by the richness with which she embraced each moment. She was a steady source of warmth and kindness to all who were fortunate to know her. She lived life on her own terms. She embodied resilience and independence including her final moments. In true fashion, she had someone notify 911, told the paramedics she would like to be transported to the hospital, and accepted the assistance the rescue crew offered into the back of the ambulance. As the doors of the ambulance closed, she opened the door to eternity.
Her legacy is one of love lived out loud: in the meals and wine she shared, the kindness she extended, the laughter she inspired, and the courage she modeled.
She will be deeply missed and forever treasured by her five children Cindy & Shawn, Kimberly & Jerry, Deborah & Mike, Tammy & Jerry, Christopher & Sophia; 16 amazing grandchildren, 28 delightful great grandchildren; 3 incredible great-great grandchildren and numerous cherished friends. All who will continue to honor her by living with the same generous spirit she carried throughout her 94 vibrant years.
A celebration of her remarkable life will be held on a future date and all who knew and loved her will be welcomed to join.
In lieu of flowers, the family invites donations to Maranatha Helping Hands, Inc - 5360 S 73rd Road, Lake Worth, Fl 33463 - on the check or donation please include the name Benoit Foudenique or St Jude or charity/foundation of your choice.
