John Hansel Gaskins III's Obituary
John Hansel Gaskins, III age 65 of Greenacres, Florida passed away peacefully at his residence on December 5, 2014. John was born on March 30, 1949 in Tallahassee, Florida to the late Mr. John Hansel Gaskins, Jr. and the late Mrs. Nancy Louise (nee Lewis) Gaskins. John was a veteran of the Vietnam War serving in the United States Army as a Specialist 4 recieving the National Defense Medal, the Marksman Medal and the Sharpshooter's Medal. He loved to watch Wrestling and cheer on his favorite Wrestlers. He also loved to shoot Pool and going to the Flea Market to find a bargain. John was a hardworking and devoted family man; always providing for his wife and children with the necessities of life. He will forever be loved and honored by his devoted wife of thirty three years, Diana Edith Gaskins; his two loved children, John Hansel Gaskins, IV and Nancy Louise Roy and her husband, John Roy; his three admired brothers, Roger Gaskins, Jimmy Gaskins and David Gaskins; and his loved sister, Judy Husley and her husband, Rodney. The United States Army will present Military Honors on at 2:45PM on Friday, December 19, 2014 at the South Florida National Cemetery, 6501 South State Road 7, Lake Worth, Florida 33449, (561) 649-6489. Interment will follow in the South Florida National Cemetery in Lake Worth, Florida.
