Josefa (Josie) Lopez Santiago was called into the arms of her loving Lord on Sunday July 31, 2016 at home in Lake Worth Florida. Left to cherish her memory are husband Benny Santiago Sr. sons Benny Santiago Jr & Jose Santiago, daughters-in-law Karla Pack Santiago & Linda Santiago. Daughters Zenaida (Cindy) Santiago, Carmen Santiago & Shelby Lynn Santiago. Grand daughters Zenaida Cuevas, ,Ashley Vasquez(Rigoberto Vasquez II),Alyssa Rivera, Alexandra Rivera, Jaimara Santiago, & Zarah Cuevas and Grandson Lorenzo Garcia..Great Grand children Gabriana Perez, Giuliana Perez and Rigoberto Vasquez III,
Josie loved her family and spending time with them filled her heart. She was an active member of the Church of Christ of the Palm Beaches until failing health prevented her from attending. . She loved to sing and had a voice like an Angel. She enjoyed cooking for family and friends. Josie worked for Palm Beach County in the schools system as cook, baker and head cook. She then worked as a Crossing Guard with the Sheriffs Department. She had a quick mind and funny sense of humor and made others laugh even under ill health. No beauty shines brighter than that of a good heart. Now sweet Josie is shinning bright in heaven.
