Joseph Alexis' Obituary
Mr. Joseph Alexis most of you known as “Wilbert”, passed away Thursday, February 16, 2023, at the hospital surrounded by his family after a long battle with stomach cancer. He was born June 15, 1961, in Penson Kominn Marchant Dessaline, Haiti to the late Jonna Seleksan and Enomenm Alexis. He was the oldest of five sisters and two brothers. He was preceded in death by one brother and sister.
He grew up in Haiti with his brothers and sisters working on the family farm. When he was 23 years old, he migrated from Haiti and settled in Coral Springs, Florida seeking a better life for his family. He left his wife and two daughters in Haiti. Twelve years later he brought his wife, his two children, his brother, one sister, and seven nieces and nephews to the United States.
He worked as a Lawn Care Technician until he was diagnosed with cancer. Wilbert was known to be the life of every family function. He is always willing to help family members and friends with bettering themselves.
He is survived by his wife Jeronne (Tijo) Alexis. His five children Berline Alexis, Lineda Alexis, Nancy Alexis, Kervins Alexis, and Darren Alexis. His three grandchildren: Brianna, Zahir, and Bianca.
He is also survived by his four sisters and one brother: Daline Alexis, Livana Alexis, Audamcia Alexis, Antry Alexis, Lermicia Alexis, and Tiseli Alexis. And multiple nieces, nephews, and friends.

Services for Joseph Alexis are will take place Saturday February 25, 2023 at 12:00 pm at Palm Beach Memorial Park Funeral Home.
