Juan L. Figueroa's Obituary
Juan L. Figueroa, age 92, of South Florida, passed away peacefully on May 6th, 2025.
Born on November 6, 1932, in Chile, Juan was the beloved son of Juan L. Figueroa and Teresa Fernandez. The youngest of five siblings, Juan’s adventurous spirit led him to emigrate to the United States, where he first settled in Washington D.C. There, he built a successful automotive business from the ground up before eventually moving to South Florida, where he made his home.
Juan was the devoted husband of Maria Figueroa and the proud father of Charles, Rick, Lisa, Jackie, and Teresa. He was also a cherished grandfather to many grandchildren who brought him endless joy.
Known for his generous heart, sharp wit, and incredible sense of humor, Juan was always ready to help others. He was a hardworking entrepreneur who believed deeply in putting family first and living by God’s will. He was known for discovering the best Latin restaurants in Miami, Hialeah and the surrounding areas. He was famous among family and friends for his impressive baseball hat collection.
Juan’s life was a beautiful example of love, laughter, and dedication. He will be remembered for his unwavering devotion to his family, his zest for life, and his ability to make everyone around him feel special.
A funeral service will be held on Thursday May 15that 11.00am at West Pines Baptist Church, 4906 Melaleuca Lane, Greenacres, FL 33463 with visitation on Thursday May 15th from 10.00am to 11.00am at the same location. Burial will follow at Palm Beach Memorial Funeral Home and Cemetery, 3691 N. Seacrest Blvd. Lantana, FL 33462 following the service.
