Laura Ann Begnoche's Obituary
BEGNOCHE, Laura Kennedy
On Saturday, January 19, 2019 at 9:45AM, while surrounded by loved ones, Laura Kennedy Begnoche, 51, went to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Laura is survived by her adoring husband of 28 years, Dr. Ken Begnoche, and their beautiful children Brooke (Aliapoulios) and Brad. While she lost a 32 month battle with pancreatic cancer, she won the war. She is now spending eternity, in heaven, where there is no sickness, no sadness and no death. Laura’s favorite Bible verse was Phillipians 4:6 - Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. During her courageous battle, Laura tried her very best to live out this verse, especially as it relates to being thankful. Laura was so very thankful for her many blessings, especially those of family, friends and faith.
Laura was a graduate of Lake Worth High School and Florida State University where she studied business and finance. She and Ken met in high school and began dating at the age of 16. After college, Laura and Ken moved to Gainesville, Fl so Ken could attend the University of Florida College of Dentistry. Laura worked for a local dentist in Gainesville to help support her husband and to learn more about the dental profession. Upon Ken’s graduation, they moved back to Boynton Beach to begin a family. Laura worked in Ken’s dental practice part-time as she continued raising a family. Laura was loved by her co-workers and patients alike.
Laura loved life and enjoyed the outdoors; especially the beach, boating and playing tennis. She will be remembered most for her infectious smile and ability to listen. Laura genuinely enjoyed listening to others rather than talking about herself and this is what endeared her to everyone she met. She will be missed dearly until we see her again.
Laura is survived by her husband Dr. Ken Begnoche, her son Bradley Begnoche, her daughter and son-in-law Brooke and Clark Aliapoulios, her parents Fr. David and Beverly Kennedy, her sister and brother-in-law Clare and Alex Morales, Ken’s parents; Patty Begnoche, Marcel and Dianna Begnoche, brother-in-law Larry Begnoche, and nieces and nephews, Larry, Shannon, Mitch, Robert, Matthew, and Greg.
Laura’s Celebration of Life service will take place on Saturday, January 26th at 11:00am at Christ Fellowship Church’s Boynton Beach campus (801 N Congress Ave, 33426, attached to the west side of the Boynton Beach Mall), followed by a reception at Benvenuto restaurant (1730 N Federal Hwy, Boynton Beach, Fl 33435).
In Lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to Laura’s favorite charity in her name; The Place of Hope at https://www.placeofhope.com/donate/.
