Lawrence Thacker's Obituary
Larry Thacker, 81, of Vero Beach, Florida, passed peacefully after a long battle with cancer at his home surrounded by family on Wednesday, March 3, 2021.
Larry was born in Canton, Ohio the only son of Lawrence M. Thacker and Gladys Sanko. He also has a sister Eileen Thelma Swank, which proceeded him in death along with his parents.
He is survived by his wife Audrey (Terrie) Thacker of Vero Beach; his children Marilyn Thacker, Larry Thacker, John Thacker, Lee Thacker, and Natalie Castillo; a plethora of grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Larry retired from Tri-County Concrete as a semi-truck driver and was a musician. He played the steel guitar in bands all over Florida and for numerous charities. His passions included car racing, camping, fishing, and country music.
