I will share a memory of my nephew, I called him Jr. he was always getting me into trouble with my Mom who was his grandmother. Jr. and I were born in the same year, My Mom and his mom were mother and daughter and we grew up together, I'm hurt we never saw each other toward the end or got to see one another. But my memories will always be with me for the things we did as kids and the great laughs we had together as kids.

Happy Birthday Lenny,

You were the faithful and devoted husband to my best friend for almost 60 years. Through my friendship with Rita, you became my good friend. I have so many memories and they all bring a smile to my face. You were a man of incredible strength and yet you were a teddy bear who could never do enough for your family and friends. I was Maid of Honor at your wedding, I was the gal you carried around the months I had my broken leg, I was God Mother for your son, you and Rita were God Parents for my daughter. Those are memories one has with only very good friends.

You had an incredible ability to make people laugh and my mother loved you; you made her laugh (not easy) until she cried.

I regret I was unable to say goodbye in person but will always treasure those years and am honored to have been one of the many friends who shared your life. Rest in peace my good friend and pray for all of us you left behind. Until we meet again,
