Lorna/Dawn, what can I say. but that I miss you!
Lorna came into my life many years ago and became an extended part of my family. She was my reason for moving to Florida.
I'll miss not being able to pick up the phone to talk to her, about any and everything. An ongoing topic being the girls. Winston, Ashley and Laura could not have asked for a better mom. She was ever protective and attentive to them, always championing their rights. If I was on the phone with her and one of them call, she would tell me that she would have to call me back. She was never too busy for them.
She was my sounding board on any venture I wished to undertake and always had wise and practical advice.
I remember her little quirks: hot liquids had to be scolding hot. Hence, she was never able to drink a full cup of coffee or tea, since halfway through it was not hot enough. She would never be caught eating at a buffet or at any restaurant in a mall. Cornmeal was considered 'dog food', so cornmeal pudding was a no-no.
I still cannot believe that she is no longer with us.

I’ll never forget the first time I met Lorna; our kids were in kindergarten, and she warmly introduced herself with a smile. That was the start of our wonderful friendship. Her strength, spirit, and kindness touched everyone around her, and her infectious laughter always brightened my day. I will truly miss our conversations, especially about our young adult children. She was always there for them, offering support, prayers, and so much joy along the journey.
One of my treasured memories is the cruise we shared, where our team won numerous trivia games. We were filled with excitement and had a blast! On her birthday, which fell on Christmas, Lorna would often travel with her family, reflecting the intentional way she lived her life.
Although we won't be able to realize some of our plans together, I believe God wanted you to be with Him in Eternal Glory. I will always love and miss you, my dear friend. My daughter Leann, whom you affectionately called Lele, often expresses how much she cherished that nickname. You made a profound impact on Ashlee’s friends, many of whom you’ve known since their kindergarten days.
Lorna, your time on earth may have been short, but it was filled with immense love for your daughters, Ashlee and Laura, and your wonderful husband, Bernard. May God comfort and guide them through this immense grief and pain.
Sleep well Dr. Wright-Williams. You will forever be remembered, loved, cherished and deeply missed. ❤️

Lorna's smile was a blessing - warm and genuine. She loved her children with her whole heart, and the bond she shared with her husband was truly special. May her memory continue ro shine through those she loved most. May her spirit rest in God's eternal peace.
