Mrs. Madeline Lena Johnston's Obituary
Mrs. Madeline Lena Johnston age 83 of North Palm Beach, Florida was called home by the Lord on November 30, 2014. Madeline was born on February 11, 1931 in Albert, West Virginia to her late father, Otis G. Maul and her late mother, Ethel May Maul. Madeline moved to the South Florida area in 1964, coming from her former hometown of Lancaster, Ohio. Madeline worked as a Quality Control Inspector for many years in the Manufacturing Industry. She was a member of the Northlake Church of the Nazarene, where she loved to worship and give praise to her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Madeline loved to socialize and spend quality time with family and friends. She also loved to read and study her Bible; she lived a very Godly life. She was a great housekeeper always keeping her home neat as a pin. She loved going out with her husband, Wilford for a nice dinner and a night out on the town. Madeline will be remembered for her wonderful smile, great personality and "happy go lucky" outlook towards life in general, her social graces and very vocal opinions when deemed appropriate; but most of all the good and kind person that she truly was at all times. She was very generous and would give a stranger her last dollar if so needed. She lived in accordance with the words of the Holy Bible as written in Proverbs 31:10. Who can find a virtuous woman? for her price is far above rubies. 11. The heart of her husband doth safely trust in her, so that he shall have no need of spoil. 12. She will do him good and not evil all the days of her life. 28. Her children arise up, and call her blessed; her husband also, and he praiseth her. 30. Favour is deceitful, and beauty is vain: but a woman that feareth the LORD, she shall be praised. 31. Give her of the fruit of her hands; and let her own works praise her in the gates. Madeline would say, "God won't put anymore upon me than I can bear." She will be forever honored and remembered by her loving and devoted husband, Wilford E. Johnston; her loved brother, Ernest Maul and his wife, Billie Maul; her loved children, Gilbert E. Johnston, II, Debra Witherow and her husband, Michael Witherow and Gary Johnston; her six treasured grandchildren, Gilbert E. Johnston, III, John R. Johnston and his wife, Shannon Johnston, Shane Witherow, Shannon Richards and her husband, Garry Richards, II, Derrick Johnston and Joey Johnston and his wife, Laura Johnston; and her thirteen great grandchildren, Andrew Johnston, Adrianna Johnston, Zachary Johnston, Taylor Johnston, Aaron Johnston, Joshua Witherow, Hailey Richards, Brooklyn Richards, Trevor Johnston, Trenton Johnston, Desirre Johnston, Trinity Johnston and Joseph Ryan Johnston. Family and friends will gather to visit and pay respects on Wednesday, December 3, 2014 from 5:00 PM - 7:00 PM at Palm Beach Memorial Park Funeral Home, 3691 Seacrest Boulevard, Lantana, Florida 33462, (561) 586-1237.
