Marie R. Briand, 100, of Greenacres, FL passed away peacefully at Arbor Oaks Assisted Living, on October 31, 2018 She was born, February 16, 1918 in Scranton, Pa.. Married to Charles J. Sabad, April 20, 1940 and moved to Dover N. J.. They had two children, Marianne and Chuck. In 1955 she was employed as a secretary by the Dover Board Of Education and retired July 1976. Her first husband passed away in 1972. She met and married Jean Briand in 1974. They moved to Greenacres, Fl. in 1982 and Jean passed away in 1998 She is survived by her daughter Marianne Rutoski and her Grandson, Michael Rutoski. Marie has been a member of St. Luke’s church since moving to FL. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place at 10: AM on Saturday, Nov. 3, 2018, at St. Luke’s Church, 2892 S. Congress Ave. Palm Springs FL. She will be laid to rest immediately following the service at Palm Beach Memorial Park Lantana, FL. Memorial donations in memory of Marie may be made to St. Luke’s Catholic Church #6048, 2892 S. Congress Ave. Palms Springs FL. 33461.
