Melba R. Nix's Obituary
Melba R Nix, formally of 46 Randolph Dr, Glastonbury, Connecticut and 44 Yacht Club Dr, North Palm Beach, Florida, has died at the age of 90. Mom passed away after spending a month at Palm Beach Gardens Hospital and Hospice. Mom was a cigarette smoker and had lung related problems. Though she was not terminal Mom refused to accept care because she did not want to walk with a walker and breath oxygen 24/7. Mom had an active life playing golf 3 times per week and traveling the world on countless tours. She lived for 34 years in a beautiful condo on the intracoastal with the water just 20 feet from her porch. She loved watching the boats and yachts pass by daily. Survived by; George Reid Nix, of Parkland, Florida, and Robert Louis Nix of Murrieta, California.
Mom's cremated remains will be with her second husband at Palm Beach Memorial Park, Lantana FL.
