Meryl S Salkin's Obituary
Meryl Seligson Salkin, formerly of Boynton Beach, FL, passed away on March 31, 2020 at the age of 84. Meryl is predeceased by her husband of 30 years, George Salkin. She is lovingly remembered by her two children, Laurie Law (Ed Law) and Gary Deutsch (Susan Dornstein), her sister Doris Davidoff, her stepsons Jeff Salkin and Arne Salkin, her stepdaughters Melinda Joy Heller and Alison Heller-Ono, her grandchildren, and her great-grandchildren.
Meryl, daughter of Evelyne Meyer and Philip Seligson, was born on July 30, 1935 in Cedarhurst, Long Island, New York. She earned her bachelor’s degree and master’s degree in psychology from Glassboro State College. She was happily married to Gerald Heller until his passing in 1988. She had an incredible love for dachshunds and cared deeply about her own dachshund, Rusty.
