I was Monica's supervisor at Boynton Beach Police Department. She was a member of the Traffic Unit & we worked closely. She was not only an awesome employee, but, a true friend and a very special person. She was a very kind & tender person who loved life, her family (especially Dave, her son) and the environment of police work. She was always a dedicated employee & would do whatever assignment she was given & did it to her utmost abilities. After leaving Boynton Beach P.D., I stayed in contact with Monica, even when she moved to the west coast of FL. We shared emails & communications on Facebook. I always knew of her medical problems, but, she would never let on how bad it was or her current medical condition. She loved life . . and, especially that grand-daughter. She apparently had some great, but short, times with her and hoping the little girl remembers her always. I will miss Monica.
