Nasryth Antonio "Tony" Funes' Obituary
It is with aching hearts we announce the passing of Nasryth Antonio "Tony" Funes, age 21, who God gave his wings on August 27, 2025, on what would have been his 21st birthday.
Tony proudly served his country in the United States Army as an Apache helicopter mechanic, stationed at Fort Hood in Killeen, Texas. He was dedicated to his military service and took great pride in his work maintaining these vital aircraft.
Outside of his military duties, Tony had a passion for video games and was an active member of local car clubs, where he shared his love of automobiles with fellow enthusiasts. These interests brought him joy and connected him with friends who shared his passions.
Tony is survived by his loving parents, Nasryth Funes and Amanda Miller; his sisters Mia, Diana and Brielynn; his brothers Christopher, Brandon, Gianluca and Faryth; his devoted grandparents; and numerous aunts and uncles who will cherish his memory in their hearts forever.
Tony will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him. His family finds comfort in knowing that his memory will live on in their hearts until they meet again. Fly high and soar the skies with your wings.
A service will be held on September 21st, 2025, at 1:00PM at Palm Beach Memorial, 3691 N Seacrest Blvd, Lantana, FL 33462. For more information, please call 561-249-4265.
Tony will be laid to rest at the South Florida National Cemetery in Lake Worth, FL at a later date, honoring his service to our country.
